Tess & The Details are a four-piece female-fronted rock band from San Francisco, California. They’ve been active since 2023, with the release of their debut album Runaway via Double Helix Records. Their latest independently-released single “Take Me Alive” and Wiretap Records supported cover of “Maniac” have brought them additional listeners and success online and at shows.

They’ve also appeared on compilations for Punk Rock Saves Lives, Attention! By Wiretap Records, “Distort The Bay” by Destroy Art Inc. “Pee Approved” by Pee records AU and others.

The band has toured all over California and into Oregon, Nevada and more. They kick off 2026 with a new single, “Standing on the Edge” and a tour supporing “Not.GreenDay” and Thomas Nicholas Band.

The Details will play 11-dates across California starting with a one-off date supporting The Queers in San Jose, then working across the state including a show at the Garden Grove Amphitheater.

The Details have notably played alongside Fishbone, Swingin’ Utters, The Meteors, The Last Gang, The Drowns, and many more.

The band prides themselves on their work ethic, advocacy for mental health awareness, and just being a really solid rock band with a lot of attention to “details.”
